Sentence for producing child pornography is affirmed over defendant's arguments that: 1) the 18 U.S.C. section 3553(a) sentencing factors required a lower sentence than the guideline minimum; 2) the sentence was inconsistent with the principle of marginal deterrence; 3) his sentence, by punishing less serious misconduct as heavily as more serious, created an arbitrary disparity in sentencing; and 4) a shorter sentence would have been adequate to achieve the penological objectives set forth in section 3553(a).
