United States Third Circuit
US v. Johnson, 11-2170
In a prosecution for drug trafficking and firearms offenses, the conviction and sentence are affirmed, where: 1) the defendant's lawyer consented to the jury selection procedures and thereby waived his client's right to challenge them on constitutional and Rule 43 grounds; 2) the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying the defendant's motion to disclose the identity of a confidential informant; 3) the evidence was sufficient to support the conviction for possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense; and 4) the sentence was substantively reasonable.
