California Court of Appeal
In re Cole Y., B256594
Appeal of a juvenile court's jurisdictional and dispositional orders declaring five-year-old a dependent of the court pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Section 300(b) (failure to protect), terminating the case with a family court order granting physical custody to Mother and monitored visitation to Father of a minimum of four hours per week, and requiring Father to complete various counseling programs as a condition to modifying the family court custody order, is affirmed as to the jurisdictional order, but reversed as to the dispositional order to the extent it conditioned the family court's modification of the juvenile court's custody and visitation exit order upon proof of Father's completion of drug and parenting programs and counseling.
