STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent, v. MICHAEL D. HAWKINS, Appellant.
ORDER
Following a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Buchanan County, Michael Hawkins was convicted of first-degree sodomy, in violation of § 566.060, RSMo, involving a victim who was less than twelve years of age. Hawkins appeals. He argues that the circuit court abused its discretion by permitting members of the Bikers Against Child Abuse group to wear jackets displaying the group's insignia in the courtroom during trial. Hawkins also argues that the circuit court erred by admitting into evidence a passage from the victim's forensic interview in which she stated that Hawkins’ current incarceration was “not the first time” he had been in jail. We affirm. Because a published opinion would serve no jurisprudential purpose, we have provided the parties with an unpublished memorandum setting forth the reasons for this order. Rule 30.25(b).
