STATE of Louisiana v. Anthony HOWELLS
Writ granted in part. The trial court's ruling denying the defense motion to introduce previous allegations of sexual abuse by the alleged victim's uncle as evidence of third-party guilt is reversed. See Chambers v. Mississippi, 410 U.S. 284, 302, 93 S.Ct. 1038, 35 L.Ed.2d 297 (1973); State v. Williams, 2005-1560 (La. 4/24/06), 927 So. 2d 266; State v. Vaughn, 448 So. 2d 1260, 1267 (La. 1983) (on rehearing). The matter is remanded to the trial court for further proceedings consistent with this per curiam. In all other respects, the writ is denied.
REVERSED, IN PART, AND REMANDED.
