Keith BRYANT v. The STATE of Louisiana, Through the Department of Public Safety and Corrections; Secretary James W. Leblanc, Angela Griffin and Other Unknown Defendants
Granted. The court of appeal erred in finding the district court lacked subject matter jurisdiction over plaintiff's civil action for damages. See La. R.S. 15:1177(A); Pope v. State, 99-2559 (La. 6/29/01), 792 So. 2d 713.
Accordingly, the judgment of the court of appeal is vacated, and the case is remanded to the district court for further proceedings.
PER CURIAM
Crichton, J., dissents.
