RONALD LISBERG AND MARTHA LISBERG v. GEORGEOS DOUKAKIS, COSTAL SHIP REPAIR, INC., PROGRESSIVE SECURITY INSURANCE COMPANY
A motion in limine is not a substitute for summary judgment. It is an interlocutory ruling that may be revisited. Plaintiff cannot be prevented from testifying about medical treatment he received. Causation is another matter, and is decided by the trier of fact or pursuant to the guardrails provided by summary judgment procedure.
Hughes, J., would grant the writ.
