The petitioner's petition for writ of habeas corpus is granted only to the extent that within five days, the trial court shall hold a hearing to determine whether pretrial detention is authorized and appropriate under section 907.041(4), Florida Statutes (2019). Should the trial court impose pretrial detention, it shall make the findings required by section 907.041 (4)i\). See State v. Paul, 783 So. 2d 1042, 1051 (Fla. 2001) (holding that “although the breach of a bond condition provides the basis for revocation of the original bond, the trial court's discretion to deny a subsequent application for a new bond is limited by the terms of [section 907.041].”). If the trial court does not impose pretrial detention, it shall set appropriate conditions of pretrial release pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.131 (b).
