State, 255 So. 3d 400, 404 (Fla. 3d DCA 2018) (“If the trial court determines that the defendant has made a knowing and intelligent waiver of his right to counsel, then the trial court cannot deny the defendant's unequivocal request to represent himself or herself, regardless of the defendant's lack of legal skills or the complexity of the case.”).
