The petition for writ of mandamus is granted only to the extent that the copy of the petitioner's petition for writ of mandamus attached to his petition, which bears a prison date-stamp and certificate of service showing the date July 18, 2017, is hereby forwarded to the clerk of the circuit court for filing and review by the circuit court. The court shall treat the petition as if filed on July 18, 2017. The petition for writ of mandamus is denied in all other respects.
