Convictions for possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute are affirmed where the district court did not: 1) violate the Speedy Trial Act; 2) abuse its discretion in circumscribing direct examination; 3) substantially and injuriously influence the jury's verdict through its ex parte contact; or 4) err in its approach to aiding and abetting.
