United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Omar, 08-2684

Sentence for health care fraud and money laundering is affirmed where: 1) even if the district court abused its discretion in imposing a two-level enhancement under U.S.S.G. sec. 3B1.1(c) for a management role in the offense, the error had no effect on defendant's sentence; 2) the court adequately reviewed the U.S.S.G. sec. 3553(a) factors in setting the sentence and specifically addressed the factors raised in defendant's appeal; and 3) defendant's sentence was not unreasonable.
