United States Fifth Circuit
US v. Rabanal, 06-10307, 06-11281
Defendants' sentences in unrelated cases, imposed after they plead guilty to illegal reentry, are affirmed where the district court did not erroneously apply a sentence enhancement based on prior convictions for alien smuggling offenses, as defendants failed to even argue that their prior offenses concerned only members of their families and were first time offenses.
