United States Fifth Circuit

Marquez-Marquez v. Gonzales, 05-60436

A petition for review of an order by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) affirming an Immigration Judge's (IJ) removal order is denied where petitioner did not automatically obtain U.S. citizenship under applicable law by virtue of her adoption by a U.S. citizen, and thus, as an alien she was removable for a drug trafficking conviction. Additionally, the court was barred from reviewing her removal order or a decision to deny her certain discretionary relief.
