Denial of a petition for writ of habeas corpus brought by a prisoner under a sentence of death is affirmed over claims that: 1) defendant was denied his Sixth Amendment right to constitutionally effective counsel during the punishment phase of trial; and 2) his Sixth Amendment rights under Ring and Apprendi were violated.
