United States First Circuit
US v. Am, 07-2794
Conviction and sentence for firearms possession is affirmed where: 1) the district court properly denied defendant's motion to suppress the evidence seized during the pat-frisk, as the officers possessed the reasonable suspicion necessary to conduct a Terry stop of defendant and the search was reasonably related in scope to the circumstances which justified the stop; and 2) defendant's sentence was proper as one of his prior convictions qualified as a predicate under the Armed Career Criminal Act.
