VAUGHN v. COX, 00-14380
A sheriff deputy is entitled to qualified immunity from a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 suit arising out of a police chase, because U.S. Supreme Court decisions did not provide fair warning to the deputy that his alleged conduct violated plaintiff's Fourth Amendment rights.
