Mont v. US, 17–8995

Addressed whether a convicted criminal's period of supervised release is tolled -- in effect, paused -- during pretrial detention for a new criminal offense. Held that tolling occurs if certain conditions are met. Justice Thomas delivered the opinion of the 5-4 Court.
