United States Supreme Court

Wilson v. Sellers, 16-6855

Affirming the denial of a federal habeas petition filed by a death row inmate alleging ineffectiveness of counsel in violation of the Sixth Amendment because although the District Court assumed that counsel was deficient it deferred to the state habeas court's conclusion that these deficiencies did not result in prejudice and the Supreme Court agreed with the methodology employed.
