United States Supreme Court
Sessions v. Dimaya, 15-1498
Affirming the judgment that a conviction for first-degree burglary is not a crime of violence under the residual clause of the Armed Career Criminal Act because a violent felony, required to classify a conviction as an aggravated felony, cannot be found under such residual clause convictions because the ACCA definition of a violent felony as conduct presenting serious potential risk of injury to another is unconstitutionally void for vagueness under the Fifth Amendment.
