United States Supreme Court
Caetano v. Massachusetts, 14-10078
In a case to determine whether stun guns are protected by the Second Amendment, a Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts decision upholding a Massachusetts law prohibiting the possession of stun guns is vacated and remanded where the explanation the Massachusetts court offered for upholding the law contradicts U.S. Supreme Court precedent in District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U. S. 570, 582 (2008).
