United States v. Juvenile Male, 09–940

In a dispute involving the scope of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA), 42 U. S. C. section 16901 et seq., judgment of the appeals court holding that the requirements of the SORNA violate the Ex Post Facto Clause of the Constitution is vacated where the court lacked the authority to enter such judgment because it had no live controversy before it.
