United States Supreme Court
Lance v. Coffman, 06-641
In an action brought by Colorado citizens involving the constitutionality of a state constitutional provision limiting redistricting to once per census, a judgment finding the suit barred by issue preclusion is vacated in part where plaintiffs lacked standing to bring their Elections Clause claim as their alleged injury was an undifferentiated, generalized grievance about the conduct of government.
