United States Supreme Court
Lance v. Dennis, 05-555
Dismissal of citizen plaintiffs' suit involving Colorado's congressional redistricting pursuant to the Rooker-Feldman doctrine is vacated where plaintiffs were not parties to the underlying state-court proceedings, and the Rooker-Feldman doctrine did not bar plaintiffs' action simply because, for purposes of preclusion law, they could be considered in privity with a party to the judgment.
