United States Federal Circuit
Jang v. Boston Scientific Corporation, 16-1275
Affirming the district court's denial of a doctor's motion for judgment as a matter of law in the case involving the dispute over patents on coronary stents between the doctor and a medical research group because substantial evidence supported the jury's verdict of no literal infringement and the doctor did not meet his burden of proving that his doctrine of equivalents theory did not ensnare the prior art.
