D'Agostino v. Mastercard Int'l, Inc., 2016-1592
In a patent action, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Board's decision that two patents, dealing with processes for generating limited-use transaction codes which serve to protect credit card information during consumer transactions, are unpatentable is vacated and remanded where the Board's decision rests on an unreasonable claim interpretation.
