In an infringement case involving four patents concerning parts of a system designed to solve an accounting and billing problem faced by network service provider, the district court's grant of defendant's motion for judgment on the pleadings, finding that the patents were not directed to patent eligible subject matter under section 101, is reversed where the claims at issue are eligible for patenting in light of the written description.
