United States Federal Circuit
Crooker v. US, 2015-5056
Sentence for guilty plea to charges of mailing a threatening communication and possession of a toxin without registration, is reversed where because the entirety of plaintiff's 'unjust' imprisonment has been applied to a 'just' conviction and, as a result, plaintiff will spend no more time in prison than he is legally required, plaintiff is not entitled to any damages under the Unjust Conviction and Imprisonment Act.
