In an appeal of a U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board's (PTAB) decision on inter partes reexamination, finding obvious certain claims of a patent directed to heavy machinery tools used for construction and demolition, the PTAB's decision is affirmed where substantial evidence supports its determination that the patent would have been obvious in view of German prior art reference.
