Genetic Technologies Ltd. v. Merial L.L.C. , 2015-1202
In an infringement suit involving a patent which relates to methods of detecting genetic variations, the district court's grant of defendants' motions to dismiss for failure to state a claim and entry of final judgment that claims 1-25 and 33-36 of the patent are ineligible for patenting under 35 U.S.C. section 101, are affirmed where claim 1 is directed to unpatentable subject matter.
