Pride Mobility Products Corp. v. Permobil, Inc., 2015-1585
In an appeal of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board decisions in inter partes reviews of a patents which claim and disclose wheelchairs designed to travel stably over obstacles, in which the Board cancelled all claims of both patents for obviousness, the Board decisions are: 1) reversed as to the Board's construction and cancellation of claim 7 of the '343 patent; and 2) affirmed as to all other claims.
