In an infringement case related to a patent that describes software for controlling a payment terminal, on remand from the US Supreme Court, the district court's decision is reversed where: 1) the court erred in its construction of "virtual machine"; and 2) CardSoft waived any argument that Appellants infringe under the correct construction.
