In an action challenging findings in a petition for inter partes review in which the Patent Trial and Appeal Board cancelled numerous claims of a patent describing certain protocols for establishing communication links through a network, on the grounds of anticipation and obviousness, the Board's judgment is reversed and remanded where the claim construction upon which it relied was incorrect.
