Shukh v. Seagate Technology LLC, 14-1406
In a suit brought by an inventor-plaintiff alleging harms arising from his former employer-defendant's wrongful omission of him as the inventor of six patents related to semiconductors, the district court's dismissal of some of his claims for failure to state a claim and its grants of summary judgment on his remaining claims in favor of the defendants, are: 1) vacated and remanded as to summary judgment on plaintiff's claim for correction of inventorship under 35 U.S.C. section 256; but 2) otherwise affirmed as to the remaining holdings.
