Internet Patents Corp. v. Active Network, Inc., 14-1048

In four related infringement actions involving a patent related to the use of a conventional web browser Back and Forward navigational functionalities without data loss in an online application consisting of dynamically generated web pages, the district court's dismissal of the complaints on the ground of patent ineligibility, under 35 U.S.C. section 101, is affirmed where the Supreme Court decision in Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank International, 134 S. Ct. 2347 (2014), is not relevant to this case.
