Williamson v. Citrix Online, LLC, 13-1130

In an infringement action involving a patent describing methods and systems for "distributed learning" that utilize industry standard computer hardware and software linked by a network to provide a "virtual classroom", the district court's final judgment in favor of defendants is: 1) vacated as to judgment of non-infringement of claims 1-7 and 17-24, where the court erroneously construed the limitations; and 2) affirmed as to judgment of invalidity of claims 8-12, where the court correctly construed the limitation.
