Ericsson v. D-Link Systems, 13-1625

In this patent litigation involving patents '625, '568, and '215, all generally relating to WiFi technology employed by electronic devices to wirelessly access the internet, judgment of infringement is affirmed as to the '568 and '215 patents and reversed as to the '625 patent, the jury's finding that the '625 patent was invalid over the Petras reference is affirmed, the jury's damages award and ongoing royalty award are vacated and remanded for further proceedings, and summary judgment in favor of plaintiff Ericsson on defendant Dell's license defense is affirmed.
