Gemalto S.A. v. HTC Corp, 2013-1397
Summary judgment in favor of defendants in an action in which plaintiff alleges infringement of various claims of its three patents designed to allow resource-constrained devices, including microcontrollers, to run software applications written in high level programming languages, is affirmed, where: 1) the district court did not err in its claim construction; and 2) the district court did not err in concluding that the accused products did not infringe literally or under the doctrine of equivalents.
