Suffolk Technologies, LLC v. AOL Inc., 2013-1392

Summary judgment holding certain claims of plaintiff's '835 patent, which is directed to methods and systems for controlling a server that supplies files to computers rendering web pages, invalid, is affirmed, where the district court: 1) correctly construed the claims; and 2) properly granted summary judgment of invalidity on the basis that claims 1, 7, and 9 were anticipated by a Usenet newsgroup post.
