United States Federal Circuit

Saffran v. Johnson & Johnson, 12-1043

Judgment for plaintiff in patent infringement suit is reversed, where: 1) the district court erroneously construed the claims of plaintiff's '760 patent that discloses methods and devices for treating injured tissues by sequestering particles and macromolecules; and 2) under the correct construction, defendants are entitled to a judgment of non-infringement as a matter of law.
