United States Federal Circuit

Cent. Pines Land Co., LLC. v. US, 12-5002

In plaintiffs' takings suit against the United States, alleging that they were the owners of all oil, gas, and other minerals underlying property located in Louisiana, the judgment of the United States Court of Federal Claims dismissing the complaint is affirmed where 28 U.S.C. section 1500 barred the Claims Court from having jurisdiction over this action because plaintiffs filed a complaint in the Claims Court "for or in respect to" the same claim as their pending district court action, and their supplemental complaint did not create jurisdiction where non existed at the time the suit was filed.
