United States Federal Circuit
Mintz v. Dietz & Watson, Inc., 2010-1341
In a patent infringement action concerning a patent claiming a casing structure for encasing meat products: 1) the determination of noninfringement is affirmed, where competing products did not satisfy the "intersecting in locking engagement" claim limitation; and 2) the holding of invalidity is vacated, where there were several errors in the district court's obviousness analysis.
