Walch v. Shinseki, 08-7052
In an action involving a veteran's claim for service connection, United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims judgment against plaintiff is affirmed where the records describing plaintiff's injury were already in plaintiff's possession, and thus the VA's statutory duty to assist a claimant for benefits did not include a duty to forward that evidence to plaintiff's private physician.
