US v. Inn Foods, Inc., 08-1118

In an action involving unpaid customs duties, Court of International Trade's judgment against defendant is affirmed where: 1) the court did not err in finding defendant had fraudulent intent as to the false import documents and thus plaintiff is liable under 19 U.S.C. sec. 1592(a) for the unlawful deprivation of duties; and 2) defendant is liable for the entire amount of unpaid duties under 19 U.S.C. sec. 1592(d) for knowingly aiding and abetting violations of sec. 1592(a).
