United States Federal Circuit
CHE Consulting, Inc. v. US, 2007-5172
In bid protest case where contractor challenged the US Naval Oceanographic Office's decision to hire a single provider to perform both software and hardware computer maintenance, judgment for defendant is affirmed where the agency articulated a rational basis for its decision, namely, that having two vendors split the work would result in the risk of logistical difficulties and system downtime.
