In a case involving a patent covering a method for irrigating wounds, a ruling that the patent infringement suit at hand was an "exceptional case" under 35 U.S.C. section 285 and awarding attorney's fees to defendant is vacated and remanded where the district court failed to make adequate findings to support its "exceptional-case" determination.
