In a patent case involving patents disclosing metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs), a judgment of infringement is reversed where the judgment of infringement as to each asserted claim was foreclosed either by the combination of the circuit court's mandate in a prior appeal and the jury verdict, or by prosecution history estoppel.
