United States Federal Circuit
Renda Marine, Inc. v. US, 2006-5127
In a government contract case in which plaintiff entered into a contract with the government for the dredging of a portion of the Houston-Galveston Navigation Channel, denial of various claims made by plaintiff to a contracting officer (CO) seeking additional compensation is affirmed over claims that the Court of Federal Claims erred: 1) insofar as it denied plaintiff compensation for one of its seven differing site condition claims; and 2) in denying it leave to amend its complaint in order to challenge a final decision by the CO.
