United States Federal Circuit

BASF Corp. v. US, 2006-1387

In a tariff classification case, a decision classifying BASF's imported polyisobutylene amine under a particular subheading of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) is affirmed as the imported product is prima facie classifiable in Heading 3811 of the HTSUS, and that heading is more specific than the heading in which BASF argued the product should be classified.
