In a patent infringement suit concerning a variable width bariatric modular bed, summary judgment for defendants is affirmed where the patentee's disavowal of certain types of motors in the invention's specification was dispositive, thus there was neither direct infringement of the patent, nor infringement under the doctrine of equivalents.
